A pioneering centre for physical sciences-industry collaborations at University of Cambridge celebrated its opening today. 

The £26m Maxwell Centre will focus on "blue skies" research in areas such as efficient energy generation, storage and use, including works on photovoltaics, energy storage, refrigeration and ICT.
